This AI Safety Notice (“Notice”) governs your use of Hagrec’s AI-powered tools. It forms an integral part of our Master Terms & Conditions, Product Risk & Safety Statement, and Privacy Policy.
1. SCOPE
1.1 This Notice applies to all AI-powered tools, features, and systems (“AI Services”), including but not limited to:
- conversational assistants
- product recommendation engines
- analyzers and predictors
- automated decision-support tools
- image, text, and data processors
- algorithmic optimizers and automation systems
1.2 This Notice applies to all interactions with AI Services, regardless of platform (website, app, partner integrations, embedded devices, etc.).
1.3 By using any AI Service, you acknowledge and accept this Notice.
2. NO MEDICAL,
NUTRITIONAL, OR PROFESSIONAL ADVICE
2.1 AI outputs are informational only and must never be interpreted as authoritative or professionally validated.
2.2 AI Services do not provide: medical or dermatological advice, diagnostic assessment, treatment or dosing guidance, allergen or safety clearance, nutritional recommendations, psychological, therapeutic, or crisis support, legal, financial, or regulatory advice, professional engineering or scientific consulting — and AI does not replace human oversight or professional judgment.
2.3 AI outputs must not be relied upon for:
- safety-critical decisions
- emergency response
- pregnancy, childcare, or health decisions
- ingestion or application of Products where allergies or sensitivities may exist
- suitability decisions for vulnerable individuals (children, elderly, immunocompromised, pregnant/breastfeeding individuals)
3. ACCURACY
LIMITATIONS
3.1 AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, misleading, contextually inappropriate, or lack real-time data — especially for dynamic or time-sensitive situations.
3.2 AI models may generate synthetic (“hallucinated”) content, including invented facts, false statements, or incorrect instructions.
3.3 Hagrec provides no warranty regarding:
- accuracy or correctness
- reliability or completeness
- scientific or clinical validity
- fitness for any personal or professional purpose
- suitability for decision-making
3.4 AI does not know your:
- medical history
- allergies or intolerances
- biological conditions
- medications or health risks
- unique sensitivities
3.5 AI outputs may change between interactions and are not guaranteed to be consistent or explainable.
4. USER
RESPONSIBILITY
4.1 Users must independently verify all AI-generated information before acting on it.
4.2 Users remain solely responsible for: interpreting AI outputs, applying any suggestions, evaluating risks before using Products, and recognizing that AI may not account for your unique context, environment, health status, or real-time conditions.
4.3 Users must immediately discontinue use of AI Services if outputs appear unsafe, contradictory, unclear, or potentially harmful.
4.4 Hagrec is not responsible for harm or damage arising from:
- misuse or misinterpretation of AI suggestions
- modifying, heating, mixing, ingesting, or applying Products based on AI guidance
- reliance on AI in situations requiring human expertise
5. PROHIBITED
USES
AI Services must not be used for:
- diagnosing, preventing, or treating medical conditions
- evaluating Product safety for allergies, pregnancy, infants, or vulnerable groups — including but not limited to assessing suitability for ingestion, topical application, or environmental exposure.
- assessing ingestible or cosmetic suitability
- emergency response or crisis management
- chemical formulation, mixing, or unsafe alterations
- professional-grade decision-making (medical, legal, financial, regulatory, engineering)
- high-risk environments requiring certified expertise or human oversight
AI Services must not be used in any manner that violates laws or safety standards.
6. DATA
PROCESSING
6.1 AI interactions may be logged and processed for:
- security and abuse prevention
- performance monitoring
- debugging and error analysis
- improving AI functionality
6.2 AI logs may include:
- prompts and inputs
- AI-generated outputs
- timestamps and session data
- device, browser, and technical metadata
6.3 Personal data processing follows the Privacy Policy, GDPR, nFADP, and applicable laws.
6.4 Users must not enter sensitive information, including: medical or health data, financial information, biometric identifiers, government-issued IDs, confidential, proprietary, or secret information — unless explicitly required for the service and permitted by law. Never enter data you would not be comfortable sharing publicly.

7. LIABILITY
LIMITATION
To the maximum extent permitted under Swiss, EU, and global law:
- Hagrec disclaims all liability arising from reliance on AI outputs.
- Hagrec is not responsible for errors, omissions, hallucinations, or incorrect suggestions generated by AI Services.
- Hagrec is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or moral damages resulting from AI use.
- Hagrec does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, uptime, uninterrupted functionality, or performance of AI Services — including but not limited to response time, output quality, or consistency.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
8. NO AUTONOMOUS
DECISION-MAKING
8.1 AI Services do not perform autonomous decision-making with legal or significant effects on users — including but not limited to contractual, financial, medical, or safety-related outcomes.
8.2 Users retain full control and responsibility for decisions influenced by AI suggestions.
8.3 Hagrec does not deploy AI in ways that replace human judgment.
